제253조 한 자유인이 다른 자유인을 경작을 위하여 고용하여 씨앗과 가축을 넘겨주었는데 그가 곡식과 사료를 훔친 것이 그에게서 발견되었다면 그의 손들을 자른다.(If any one agree with another to tend his field, give him seed, entrust a yoke of oxen to him, and bind him to cultivate the field, if he steal the corn or plants, and take them for himself, his hands shall be hewn off.)
